Harley has been in our care since October of last year. If you are active, love long walks in the outdoors, and are firm yet compassionate, Harley is your man! Harley has lots of energy that he just isn’t burning off here at the shelter. He would be much happier in a home with regular, daily activity to stimulate his body and mind. Harley is best suited to a home with children 12 + and dog savvy cats, as he is a bit exuberant! A very special adoption fee applies to the right adopter!

Dublin was found wandering the streets of a northern community with severe injuries to his body. He could barely put any weight on one of his front legs and had a long cut up his side and back. Unfortunately, he needed his leg to amputated. Dublin has already spent a few weeks in foster care and is recovering nicely. He has never been happier and is much more comfortable without the constant pain of his front leg. He is an amazingly friendly and gentle dog, who seems to love everyone that passes him by. He already barely even notices he is missing one of his legs! This boy is incredibly energetic and upbeat – no couch potatoes please!

I’m Nero, a Husky mix who’s only about 7 months old. I’m a shy guy who would do best being introduced to new places and people gradually. I’m looking for a loving home that will help me build some confidence. I’m very comfy here in my foster home and am very excited to set up a meeting with you!! It may take me a while to warm up but I will be your friend for life!

My name is Kodiak and I’m a 3 year old Border Collie mix. I’m a happy, friendly boy that seems to be good with other dogs. I’m best for kids over 10 years old and a home without cats. I’ll make a great jogging buddy and will become your best friend in no time! I was unhappy at the shelter and feel much more relaxed here in my foster home where I’ll stay until my new forever family finds me! Best suited for children 12+; and a home without cats.

Quill was rescued and brought to us with porcupine needles in his face and front legs. (see photo) Upon further examination by our clinic staff, we also found that he had heartworm (which left untreated is potentially fatal), more than 20 pieces of lead shot from a small gun embedded in the right side of his head, and an a eye problem in his right was so sever his eye had to be surgically removed. We have been caring for Quill since October of last year and even after all he has been through in his 2 years of life, he is truly happy to be here with people who love him. Quill is ready for adoption, and anxious to meet your acquaintance.

Mimi is an active 11 year old girl. Don’t let her age fool you, Mimi is full of spunk! Mimi had to come to our shelter when her owner moved into a senior’s home and could not take her with her. She has spent her life in a quiet home, without much action curled up on a lap and getting all the attention. She would probably do best in a similar home again. As an older gal Mimi’s adoption fee has been reduced to only $40.00 and includes all regular services. Mimi is such a sweetheart and really wants to be in a home soon! Take her home today!!
